Destination Wedding in Tulum, Mexico

Tulum is located about and hour drive from Cancun. Our friends are getting married and we are going to Celebrate!
This is my first time in Tulum and boy is it worth the trip down to the Caribbean.

We are staying at the The Beach Tulum.  What a unique beach front property. It's a quaint hotel only 28 rooms. Amazing bathroom amenities in a eco-friendly upscale style. An "Adults Only Hotel", The Beach Tulum is located on beautiful white sandy beaches surrounded by the Mexican Caribbean turquoise water.
For all you Yoga lovers they have a beautiful yoga studio right on site.

1st floor rooms offer the most privacy with a furnished terrace facing the beach and a private rooftop terrace with a hot tub, sofa and lounge chairsEnjoy the privacy of sunbathing during the day or star gazing at night.

Open spacious bathroom.
With candle around the bathtub and stand up shower.

TIP:
The resort cuts off AC around 9:00am. It was not an issue for us, because we were up and out of the room by then enjoying breakfast. But, if you are the type that like to lay in bed/sleep in....... The rooms are HOT, Air Conditioning is much needed due to the humidity of the region.

Welcome gifts from the Bride and Groom

We ordered room service right on our patio, from their in-house restaurant Ziggy's Beach Restaurant. It turns into a club/lounge in the evening with a hip, cool vibe. The perfect place to order breakfast, lunch or just a cocktail.

Shrimp Tacos and Ceviche
The food at Ziggy's is delicious.
Ceviche and a Pina Colada

Traditional Mexican Breakfast

Make sure you rent a bike from the Hotel, and go for a little ride around the town.

There are really chic shopping around the area.
You can bike, Shop,  and have a cocktail after.

After all that bike riding and soaking in the sun. We got a little thirsty, Well I got a little thirsty.
It's almost time for what we all came for...
 To Celebrate Love!

Such a dreamy backdrop for a ceremony

I forgot to mention it was an All White Wedding.

After the ceremony we were escorted to the reception by a
 Mariachi band.

We danced the night away

The table settings were beautifully detailed. The food, cake and the love were all Wedding Goals!
After we all the wedding festivities.
We all headed down to the Mayan Ruins. Each Mayan Ruin has its specific purpose.
 Tulum is no expectation.
It was a port to trade Turquoise and Jade. Here are a few pictures from our day trip to the Mayan Ruins.

Side Note: Please try the restaurant Hartwood! It's so GOOD. I only have a few dark burry pictures of the evening we went there. I may or may not have had a few too many of their craft cocktails.
Which I'm sure added to the reason my pictures were blurry.
The food is So fresh and delicious.
Make sure to make a reservation if you would like dinner. The menu changes nightly. You will not be disappointed. We loved this restaurant so much, we bought the cook book from Amazon.
