Hiking Destination: The HOLLYWOOD Sign
This is what happens when you get a group of women together, who like to do Epic Adventures. We started at the Griffith Observatory Park. Then we followed the "Mt. Hollywood Hiking Trail" signs to the top of the mountain. It's a nice paved road. You will see awesome views of the city and gorgeous lush rolling hills. You may also catch a few horses on the trail too. Its a pretty popular route, so expect to see lots of locals and tourist. Once you get to the top you will be awestruck by the views and the HOLLYWOOD sign! It's pretty Amazing in person.
There are two approaches to the Hollywood Sign the "Front" and the "Back" of the sign. Since we hike all the time we decided to hike both routes. There are tons of other trails in this particular area.
The hike is about 6 miles.
Make sure when you go to bring lots of water and a few snacks it gets hot in the Hollywood Hills. Oh and bring your camera!
