Travel During A Global Pandemic

This is my personal experience travel during COVID-19   Please check the airports you are traveling to for the most current information. And please STAY SAFE!!

I never thought that at 5:00am on a Tuesday I would be waking up to travel to Europe during a Global Pandemic.  Even though I'm an avid traveler, in no way shape or form would ordinarily be traveling at this time unless it was necessary.I'm currently living in Tallinn, Estonia and had planned to travel back toEstonia in March, right before the State of Emergency was set into place for the United States.
Prior to my flight, I checked out a few blogs on flying during a Pandemic just so I knew what to expect from the airport and airlines.

*Mask Must be worn on flight and in the airports
* limited beverage/food service
* Filling out Public Health Passenger Locator Form
*No alcohol served on flights
* Practice Social Distancing while boarding
(We boarded from the back to the front, so we did not have to pass each other on the plane)
* 10 people boarding at a time

As my sister was dropping me off at the San Diego Airport we were making jokes that maybe it was completely closed down. I have never seen San Diego International Airport empty!
Walking up to the gate to check my bag, I was the only person in line. After I got my boarding passes I walked to TSA. Once again, nobody. Well there was one lady behind me, as I was collecting all my belonging in the TSA trays I noticed a sign on the floor that said "Stay One Surf Board Apart. Social Distancing, San Diego Style".

One Surf Board Away!
Adding a Mask to my list of In Flight necessities.
What my In Flight set up looked like.
I had the whole row to myself. Yippie!!!
During our flight we were expected to wear our mask the entire flight unless you were eating or drinking. The rest of the flight was basically the same.
Once we arrived in Germany we were asked to fill out Medical Forms. Just incase we came in contact with someone who has COVID they would locate us.

Frankfurt Germany Airport had green tape over Every Other seat.
Empty Lounge
Just like San Diego International Airport. Frankfurt International Airport was a ghost town. There was only one small convent store open where you could purchase water or a sandwich.
Once arriving in  Estonia, We were once again asked to fill out medical locator forms. And we were asked to self quarantine for two weeks.
Luckily after Self Quarantine  for two weeks I showed no sign of COVID.
Have you traveled lately? How was your experience?
