Day Trip to Haapsalu, Estonia

Haapsalu is located in the Baltic Sea, on the west coast of Estonia. This sea side resort town is about a 1:30 hour easy drive from Tallinn's center city.
This town comes alive in the summertime.
There are quant shops, castles, delicious restaurants and of course resort spas.
I have the details on my favorite places to Stay, Eat & Drink in this sea side resort town.
Where to Eat?
My favorite is Dietrich Haapsalu. Located on Karja Street. A quiet street with restaurants and souvenir shops where you can purchase handmade Estonian goods.
Dietrich Restaurant offers seasonal dishes and desserts. Some of the best desserts I've had in Estonia.
Where to Stay?
Want to stay across the street from a Medieval Castle?
Haapsalu Dietrich Apartments is located in the heart of Old Town Haapsalu and across the street from the Haapsalu Castle. There are 5 newly remolded apartments each with its unique warm and cozy style.

Looking for a place to have a Coffee or a Cocktail?
Since we had lunch at Dietrich's we decided to have a cocktail at
We ordered a Haapsalu larger, sat and enjoyed the views.

 Africa Beach and Promenade
Take a romantic around Africa Beach Promenade.
This is one of the most romantic places in Haapsalu.
I cant think of a better place to take a walk and enjoy the Baltic Sea. There is also a children's playground. Beautiful flowers and of course the sunsets in the summer are absolutely dreamy.

All Aboard
Imperial Railway Station
Imperial Railway Museum, Built in the early 1900's and famous for the fact that at the time of its construction, it's 216 meter platform was the largest of its kind in Northern Europe.
A free and interactive museum for kids of all ages.
