Valle De Guadalupe Wine Tasting Tour

One of the best parts about living in San Diego is you are very close to the Mexico Border. It's about a 20 minute drive to the border. Once you cross into Mexico, you are about 30 minutes from
Valle De Guadalupe, Mexico.
A group of friends and I went down as a "Day Trip Tour". We went down with a tour called "Baja Wine Tour for a Cause". Check out their website, they have different tours, that give back to Charity.  It cost  $100.00 USD and it includes breakfast, transportation to
Valle De Guadalupe,
tasting at three wineries and
lobster dinner in Puerto Nuevo's Lobster Village .
We had a fantastic time learning about wine and enjoying each unique property!
Get a group of friends together for a good cause all while sipping wine!
Salud🍷

Alximia

This winery is like no other. Its very industrial looking and has a circular structure. Built by an architect, mathematician and an astronomer. It's a three story round building that has been called

"The Flying Saucer that landed in the Valle De Guadalupe".

 Sol De Media Noche

This winery is truly a unique experience. It's more like an Open Air Bazaar.
Wine and cheese tasting with a hint of shopping.

Decantos

Decantos is located on a beautiful estate in the Valle De Guadalupe.
As soon as you walk in you know you are in for a treat.  The grounds are gorgeous and the wine is tasty. Make sure you save room for lunch. The food here is delicious.
Have a glass of Sangria and sit on the patio looking over the  panoramic views of the
Valle de Guadalupe.
Tip: Try their Sangria its amazing

 Lobster Lunch in Puerto Nuevo

After all that wine and cheese tasting we headed west to
Lobster Village in Puerto Nuevo. Just in time for the Sunset and lobster dinner.
Traditional meal in Puerto Nuevo
Rice, Beans, warm tortillas and lobster
