The most unique part of this experience is you are guided to draw the whiskey straight out the cask to sample.
What did we learn?
Whiskey is a very complex and scientific. Down to the weather in the cellar, to the way the whiskey is preserved. We learned and had a wonderful experience at the Princess Street Johnnie Walker Whiskey Cellar Makers Experience. If you are planning on going to the Princess Street store, I highly recommend one of their experiences.
After our private tasting we headed to the 1820 Rooftop Bar to enjoy a specialty cocktail.
It’s worth a visit to the top for the panoramic views of the Edinburgh Castle. You can enjoy handcrafted cocktails and light bites.
