Oh Canada you are beautiful!
I've been looking forward to Dog-Sledding, since we first moved to Canada. While on our trip to
Old Quebec City I thought it would be the perfect time to try it out.
Yes, we decided to pick the coldest day of the year. With the windchill factor and the 7 Degrees outside we absolutely froze our A$$ OFF! We were so grateful for our warm winter gear. You are also welcome to use their Jackets, hats and boots.
Chenil La Poursuite is located about 30 minutes from Quebec City. When we first arrived we were greeted by friendly staff and hot coffee. We were taught how to steer, stop and yield our sled.
A quick lesson and we were off! We were taken through the beautiful property. Such a scenic route through the Canadian forest. We saw some of the most gorgeous pine trees topped with snow.
We can't wait to go back!
I went dog sledding in Alaska a few years ago and it was amazing! I'm not too sure about doing it in 7 degrees though!
ReplyDeleteThat’s funny, I wanted to plan a trip to Alaska. My husband convinced me Canada snow is the same as Alaskan Snow. He was right. It was a wonderful experience right here in Canada. Yeah, the cold was brutal.
